The prompt in our writing class was to write about colors , so I thought I'd do this. This isn't normally how I write, my teacher told us to write like this...
White.
The color of her wedding dress that hugged her bust to her waist tightly and flowed out from her hips down to the tiled floor.
White.
The color of her veil that covered her porcelain skin, the french silk tulle rubbing against her nose as she glided down the isle.
Red.
The color of the flowers arranged in a neat bouquet, each petal bouncing effortlessly as she hands her nosegay to her treasured friend.
Red.
The color of his boutonniere that adorned on the lapel of his tux suit.
Orange.
The color of the sunset that the newly-wedded couple watched go down. Ending their memorable day.
Orange.
The color of the dim light that hung from the ceiling above them.
Yellow.
The golden color of their bedspread--where he set her down, commencing the start of their wedding night.
Yellow.
The color of the bright sun, a dawn of a new day, a new chapter in their lives as Mr. and Mrs. Ackerman.
Green.
The color of his cloak, the last thing she saw from a distant as he departed for another expedition.
Green.
The color of the same cloak, his cloak, which was given to her.
Blue.
The color of the tears that would not stop pouring down the heartbroken girl.
Blue.
The color of more shed tears.
Black.
The color of she was forced to wear on such a tragic day in her life.
Black.
The color of the world she sees, every other color leaving her when he left her.
Grey.
The color of his eyes, grey storms she could get lost in, but was no longer open.
Grey.
The color of his gravestone.
White.
The color she saw as she opened her eyes.
White.
The color of a fresh start, in a world with no pain and suffering. A world with him.
