"Your relationship with Oikawa-kun is a distraction to him."

"Oikawa-san needs to focus on volleyball, not you."

"You're going to ruin his career."

   "His first priority is volleyball."

She walked down the street, her mind replaying the words his fan-base spat at her with.

Was their relationship going to hinder his chances of success?

Was being together a distraction to him?

She knew she shouldn't believe those words people told her, yet the [h/c] haired female couldn't help but ponder upon them. Maybe they were right, maybe she was detrimental to his volleyball career. After all, her boyfriend of one year lived and breathed volleyball. She would hate to ruin his chances of getting into a wonderful university, all because he didn't have his priorities straight.

She bit her lip, tears pooling in her eyes. The young female didn't want to break things off with him, but also didn't want to get in the way of his dream.

And there wasn't room for the both of them at the top of his life.

The girl ascended towards the gates of her high school, and looked up to see a certain ash-brown haired male waving at her. The female frowned, and clenched her backpack's strap tightly.

He strolled over to his beloved girlfriend, "Hey [Name]-chan!" He greeted, putting an arm around her shoulder.

"Hey, Tooru." She mumbled, her voice monotonous.

Oikawa frowned, and lifted an eyebrow. "Are you okay, [Name]?"

    "I'm fine."

"You don't sound fine!" He shouted.

She looked up at his concerned eyes, "I don't think we should do this anymore." The female whispered, tears staining her cheeks.

His brown orbs widened, and his mouth flew open. "W-what?" He shuttered.

"I think we should break up."

The poor brown-haired male gave her a devastated look, "Y-you're joking, right?" He nervously asked, gripping her hand tightly.

"Look, I realized we aren't meant for each other." She lied.

    "Bullshit."

He pulled out his phone from his pocket, and shoved it into her face, "Not even 24 hours ago you told me, you loved me!"

She looked at the texts, but remained quiet.

"Now tell me the truth, [Name]-chan."

Tears glistened her eyes, and she furiously wiped them away. "Shittykawa!" She shouted, "You make it so hard for me to break up with you!"

"The truth is, volleyball is so important to you and I don't want to be a distraction to you." The [h/c] haired girl confessed, her eyes fixated on her shoes.

"You are stupid." He scoffed, "After all we have been through, you break up with me because of volleyball."

"I-I didn't know what else to do, I was being pressured by--"

"By what?" He cut her off, "Why the hell would you let people decide what to do?"

    "I'm sor--"

"No you shut up!" He scolded, "Our relationship was us, not anyone else! So, why would you let others butt in?"

She clenched her hands, "Our relationship was us and volleyball." She corrected.

    "That's not true!" He defended.

"Can't you see, I'm breaking up with you because I want you to pursue your volleyball career!" She shouted, and then went into a soft whisper, "And maybe it's for the best."

"P-please don't say t-that." He begged, "I don't want to lose you over something stupid like this."

    "Oikawa, let's just be friends."

    "No."

"Tooru-chan, let's just be friends." She restated.

"Don't you dare, I won't allow you to break up with me!" He cried, "Y-you are too precious for me to lose."

    "Tooru..."

Oikawa pulled her into his arms, and to his shock, she reciprocated.

"I'm never letting you go, [Name]-chan." He whimpered, "Please don't make me let go."

"I don't want you to let go," She mumbled, her tears staining his shirt.

The brunette let out a sigh in relief, "I love you so much, [Name]-chan."

    "I love you too, Trashykawa."

"So, what do you think?" The great king asked, a smirk playing on his lips.

You and Iwaizumi gave him a bewildered expression.

"That was the shittiest story I have ever heard," Iwaizumi grumbled.

"Wah! Iwa-chan, so rude." Oikawa pouted, and turned to you, "And what did you think, [Name]-chan?"

    "..."

    "[Name]-chan?"

"Jesus christ, why am I dating you?"

"You are rude too, [Name]!" Assikawa wailed.
